I agree. I used to be one who ranted and railed against him and then I saw the futility of it. Then he stopped for awhile. Now he is back with a vengence and, thanks to some others, he is being egged on more than ever. I KNOW some others who got more offensive than could be tolerated were banned; how much longer can he be tolerated?

No, we do not have a moderator, free speech and all. Unfortunately, that means we have to govern ourselves, which apparently some of us are not capable of doing. If you want a moderated board, QOL is available. Some of us, though, prefer the freedom of QZ to the constraints that moderation places on a board.

And since your topic addresses our Oregonian friend's penile posts, it is inevitable that this thread will soon deginerate into phallic phrases and urbane responses by the peanut gallery. It's really become quite pathetic by now.

Personally I think the likes of not charles baer really liven this place up. I've had many chuckles courtesy of dear old charles.

Yes, we do need a moderator. Having a moderator does not infringe on free speech, it's a way to get rid of the ridiculous amount of spam on this board.

And I'll tell you this - the spam makes this whole place a lot less enjoyable for me. It actually makes me come here less than before. It's distracting.

The whole moderator thing has been bought up before and rejected by the majority. I personally prefer boards with no monderators- bad moderation can cause more people to leave than none at all.
