I'm just downloading songs off winmx and downloaded something titled "fugees-bohemian rhapsody" Does anyone know the history of this? Its a good cover but it doesn't sound like the fugees to me.

I reckon the version you are talking about is the one by another 'r 'n' b' group from a few years ago, called something like 'the braids' or 'the bairds'.
At least they didn't try to reinterpret the middle bit.

I had it and it said by Lauryn Hill (singer from the fugees) and it isnt a good version.

As Wreckage mentioned, it's by The Braids and has nothing to do with Lauren Hill or the Fugees.

fugees???? This song was sung by the braids and was released on the 2nd of November 1996. It got to number 21, and spent 3 weeks in total on the chart. Its not a bad version of the song, but it could be better. I do like the transistion over to rnb though. Think it was a brave attempt at an extremly hard song to sing and perform.

...........riiight.
anyway. I can't stand this version. It's slow and boring. but you're right, it was a brave attempt.

Don't like it, but at least it's original and not a shameless attempt to make an exact copy of the original.
