I'm listening to Queen and I don't even HEAR it. That's not good.

Today is 2 years since my Grandma on my mom's side passed away. I didn't cry that day but today I'm really upset. I saw my mom crying in the car yesterday when we were listening to 'November Rain' which came on the radio and since yesterday, I've been sad. I don't like to see my mom sad at all. It's a bit unsettling.

So I need cheering up. I know there's a whole lot of you on here who are crazy so work your magic. I need it. :-[

[EDIT] Maybe talking with your mother could help both of you out?

I know how that feels, Erica...my mom's father died when she was 10 years old and she still gets sad every anniversary of his death.

You can't avoid the sadness on anniversaries...it's just inevitable, I think. So I say try to remember the happy times. :^)

Thank you guys :D I'll definitely check out those links tomorrow after the SATs! (Oy)-- anyway I talked to my mom but I didn't want to because I didn't want to make her upset. But I feel much better now. :0)

Chin up, toots.

Come and sit on Flashy's knee and I'll tell you a few tales about times that I've been really brave and dashing, beating up little guys and so on.
You might kid yourself that you're immune to my charms, but after a couple of my 'special' fizzy concoctions and a playful nibble of your right earlobe, your knickers would just fall off. It's an art of mine.

Don't hit back at me with any feminist crap. Deep down you know it's the truth.

Keep smiling, Erica - you're a grand lass.
FLASHMAN STRIKES AGAIN! Paul Rodgers is not the best thing since fried Fred.

Your a class act Flash. The board would be useless without you. :)

Erica-
I have the same thing when the date of my Grandmother comes around. You know you'll get thru it, you do every time. For you life goes on. So make it the best you can, and make your gradma smile from time to time. Tell her you love her, and once and a while tell her how your day was. It worked for me. It never hurts to talk. :)

Hope you cheer up soon!

Remember, there's always someone in more pain. Me for example.. along with the usual manic/sad combo, lately I'm not feeling well. I'm having a problem where I can't stop salivating which sounds comical, but it's rather annoying when you're the victim. Also, I have itching in my feet and hands every evening. I'm tired and weak and peeing too often.

Some of this led me to believe I might be diabetic, but the itching and salivating makes no sense. Salivating is a sign of either brain trouble or poisoning and the itching is perhaps an allergy, though I first thought I had scabies since it only happens at night and I see these pencil-line marks under the skin which disappear later, but I don't have the nasty break-outs which usually accompany scabies.

I see the doctor on Wednesday, if I make it that long.
