Why we love Queenzone

After reading the heartbreaking cry for funds posted by the genius who created this site- Richard Orchard, I ran off to my nearest bank only to realise that if i gave him all my worldly funds they would (in US dollars) amount to roughly $15!! So I sat feeling guilty for a while, thinking of all the times Queenzone had come to my aid. Then I decided that there are probably lots of us out there who can't afford to help but who really appreciate this site. So I thought- why not start a list of reasons why we love and apprecitate this site so that Richard Orchard will at least know that we appreciate him?

I love this site because its a place where real Queen fans can meet, not like other "fan" sites where people just congregate to spew obscenities etc. Thank- you Richard Orchard!!!

I love this site. I have made the best friends I've had in my whole life here.

Because there're interesting people with whom I like to discuss things Queen and non-Queen related. Cause this is an international forum, and I like.

This is a great site, it has a good mixture of the Good, The Bad and The Ugly, it is sarcastic, twisted, but also bang up to date with gossip, it has empathy and advice when needed oh and there are some really cool people too!! I hope it remains that way...."Bravo" Richard Orchard

A much loved site, and I believe the start of several great relationships :-) A lot of people seem to have left the board lately though which is a shame :-(

as this site has gone down the tubes since mid 2002 my love for it has rather, erm, disappeared? God knows why i post here...i feel so detached, but aside from that! Yes, at the beginning I loved this damn site, I met my boyfriend through it and so many other wonderful people...just not recently. yes, i think i made my point.
Or not, hmm. I guess I come back because of hope, and also because although the quality of traffic has not improved the site has grown tremendously, the layout, the features, etc etc...queenzone really helped form my love for the band.

I met my boyfriend through Queenzone, and for that reason alone I will always love the site. In addition to that, I have met a number of really nice people on here and when I was a newbie searching for information I found Queenzone to provide the best.

Yes, the Queenzone forum (and probably the chatroom) has gone down the last year or so. Yet that is not something we can blame on Richard. The site still has a great layout and provides good information, which in itself is reason enough to keep visiting the site.

The chatroom is alive and well. You can keep wishing we'd be down :-P traitors.
