By Queen and Howard Blake

I found this song and thought it was great. Does anybody know in what album you can find it? What's the matter with this song? For what reason did they record it?

It's most likely just Howard Blake. He wrote the first soundtrack for "Flash Gordon" but his work was rejected in favour of the Queen soundtrack. The dismissed score was released on CD a couple of years ago. Howard Blake and Queen never worked together as far as I know, it's probably only a Kazaa mislabelling.

Yeah, the song is credited as a production of Queen and Howard Blake.

Alright, now I know where the inspiration came from.

It's not a mislabelling, it's FG's music re-recorded by Howard Blake with the National Philharmonic Orchestra. The CD contains both the orchestral underscore for Flash, as well as multiple tracks of music which were omitted from the movie entirely.
