Brian was just on BBC news in the u.k with Patrick Moore about Venus moving across the sun. Just thought id mention it.

The whole day I try to see Venus moving across the sun, but after watching five seconds to the sun my environment became black.

You are not serious, are you? You cannot stare into the sun without suitable eye protection, you are risking your eye sight. You need the special plastic sun screens you can buy for this special occasion.
