I'm debating bidding for it on Ebay, but what would be a good price to pay? I know they're rare, hard-to-find, etc., but what would be the most to pay?

I've just looked at a lot on ebay which includes box of flix, the miracle vids and (i think) rock in rio. It was currently at £1.20...

No kidding, I got Box Of Flix for maybe $20 and at that time it was already out of print for a long time. There's absolutely no reason to pay more than $30.
How about trying ebay before asking? Plenty of these boxes for 1 pound each.
Talking about Ebay, I just bought "The Cross - Mad, Bad and Dangerous To Know" CD-format on it for 18 euro's. It was my first steps in the Ebay-world. Did I make a good deal???

Probably worth around $100-$125 in mint condition with all the stuff. I got mine a few years back for $40.

Wal Mart usually has big boxes of major brands like Trix for only $2.50, it's a great deal.
As for Box of Tricks, indeed it's worth roughly $100. I paid nearly that much for one a few months back, mint condition except for the fact that the poster has been folded for 12 years so I wouldn't suggest unfolding and folding it too much.
