He was my father and I do give a crap.

Tony, a DHL courier from Brighton, was Freddie's second "live in" lover, the third after Mary Austin and David Minns. Their "relationship" lasted from the end of 1979 when they met in a Brighton gay club, to early 1982. During 1980 and 1981 Fred was frequently sleeping with others on tours away from Tony, who by 82 decided to embark on his own flings. When found out from a source, this enraged Freddie, who then cut him off completely and evicted him from his kensington flat, but kept Tony's cat. Tony died of AIDS in late 1986.
