This station just played We Will Rock You and We are the Champions twice, the studio then the live versions. Did someone in Queen die or is it one of their birthdays or what? (I'm rather suspicious whenever any radio station plays too much good music.)

No birthdays, and nobody died that I know of!

My radio station just likes to play the big US hits (AOBTD, WWRY, WATC, BR) but occasionally they'll play Fat Bottomed Girls or Somebody To Love. :D

Ah, n/m... I forgot that this station has weekend two-plays... Although did they really need to play WWRY and WATC twice? I mean there's lots of other Queen songs...

BTW, WATC was voted the 2nd or 3rd top graduation song by my school... I forget which.

Isn't it also some important soccer-football weekend in Europe? Associated music, perhaps?

Ronald "More firebombs, please" Reagan died, too, and if they're honoring him with Queen songs, the world has officially gone mad.

Brian combed his hair twice then announced it to all and sundry, phoned all the local radio stations to say that it will be included in the WWRY musical that will be coming to America.

Apart from that I dunno... just enjoy the music!!

They always play WWRY/WATC as a unit, since that's how they were released in the US, and they both are always associated with the other in most peoples' minds anyway.

If it was double play, I'm kinda surprised they played the live versions as well... was it the slow or the fast live WWRY?
