On the following website:

http://www.the-otherside.co.uk/

is a link to a song called Jam in F# Minor.

You need Broadband to listen to it, which I don't have, and would be grateful if someone could tell me if it's shite or not.

The only reason I want to know is because my nephew is playing the drums on that track.

Actually, I thought it was pretty impressive. Your nephew's not bad.

I would like nothing more than to give you a report but...the link doesn't work for me :-(

It was pretty awful.

But, on a much brighter note and without a hint of a lie, the drumming was outstanding.

Okay, yeah, Flashman's right, I was less than impressed with...certain elements.

But I was mainly referring to the drumming.

My only criticism would be that they need a better singer cause that poor bloke looked either bored or someone had just shoved him in front on a mic. As for the rest of the band I would say that they were very good, not flashy or brilliant. And of the songs they were good too.

All in all, not bad at all

I can't listen to it right now Bob, But I will tomorrow when no one is around (so I can turn on the speakers). I can't wait to finally hear your nephew drum! :D

Don't quote me on this but I believe it was the first time this band has played together (at a Jazz club in Shepperton, Middx) and would, therefore, sound a bit rough.

However, excuses aside - I am banking on my Nephew being a famous drummer and looking after his Uncle Bob in his old age - if he's a bit crap then I will have to give him a bollocking, make him practice harder and cancel the Rolls Royce ;-)

Thanks for your honesty!
