Hey! This song is really cool! I really enjoy listening to it.

I'm talking about the extended version, cause I don't like the original one so much. I dunno, maybe the double voice when Roger sings 'I cry for you'.

I love it, I love it!

I also prefer the extended mix to the album version. Very nice track, though a bit dated.

...Not to mention that we can hear our beloved Freddie singing on the extended version.

It sounds like the same chord progression to Radio Ga Ga i think.
You done too much much too young You're married with a kid when you could be having fun with me

http://www.pimderks.com/icry.mp3 the "For You" in the background sounds like Freddie to me. This is taken from the single remix.

Maybe JSS can confirm if FM sings on it or not ?

No Pim, no way. It is Roger IMO. I know sometimes I confuse Freddie's voice and Roger's (do you also confuse them?) but paying attention to this background vocal I can be sure by saying it's Roger.

Well to me that sounds EXACTLY like Fred in Pim's snippet.

No matter how many times I listen to it and try to hear Rog, I still hear Fred.

Interesting.

I think it sounds like Fred on that sample, but that sample is horrid. I hardly recognize it from the remix

The sample is taken right from the end of the 7" remix. No adjustments to make certain elements more clear. This is the only part where I hear Freddie on the track though.

Oh hey, wasn't it you I traded with for the 7" remix years ago, Pim? Or was that Mr. Scully?

I tell you it is Roger. At the end of the line the voice turns more like Roger. Pay attention.

And again, I can't hear Freddie on Killing Time :S

"And again, I can't hear Freddie on Killing Time :S"

Listen to the "oooooooohhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh's" during the orchestral part - it's him

Doesn't the fanclubbiography credit Killing Time as a Taylor/Mercury composition? I'm sure I saw that somewhere a few years back....
