Has anyone gotten a copy yet? Mine's on its way and I'm hoping it was worth the money -- cover looks interesting!

Where can I order a copy?

DVDPlanet.com has it on sale for $9.99 (only $2.98 shipping and no sales tax!) -- that's where I preordered mine, and I'm hoping it's here tomorrow!

Sorry but, what's "Becoming Queen"?

Ok, now I know. Looks interesting. I'm gonna order it as I'll have to start my final high-school project for this following Christmas.
It's about Queen.
Ah yeah.

Just another unauthorized DVD release.

Yes, it is, even down to the spelling of "Freddie (sic) Mercury" (AGH!). I've got a FM 2004 calendar and it's spelled that way too -- can't people remember it's IE instead of Y!!! *groan*
I'm still waiting on my copy. A friend on another Queen group just viewed hers and she said it's a good documentary on their early years. The photo on the cover is excellent:
Great news -- both the calendar and the DVD arrived today! The calendar is awesome, a 16-month one (A first for Queen calendars?) with STICKERS!! (Whoohoo!! LOL) The DVD didn't have any booklet, pretty bare-bones, but for an unauthorised documentary it's pretty good. Lots of interviews with Tim Staffel, Doug Puddifoot and other former bandmates/associates. Odd thing is, hardly any Queen music but very up-to-date (timeline ends at WWRY The Musical). Good picture gallery and a nice little promotional extra for the Burns Red Special...which I thought wasn't made anymore! For $10 it's worth it. Lots of concert footage and pictures I haven't seen before. I've never seen so many early ones of Brian looking so MEAN!! (LOL)

you guys in the state are soooo lucky, you get the us versions of alot of dvds. yeah i know, we get the rest of it in the uk but still, insainely jealous!!! grrr

Yes, but you guys in the UK get the GVH releases FIRST, and that makes me thankful I have a region-free player so I can preorder those before they're "finally" released in the US months later.
Plus, you've got more selection of goods there and we have to scour websites and used record stores for quality, collectable Queen merchandise.
You're so lucky!!

I got that DVD around when it came out.. I'm gonna be honest... I was expecting better. It wasn't the best. They barely had any members of QUEEN talking... Just a bunch of other sources.
