Well, it's strange. I haven't got it too, so I started it a few minutes ago and there's 18 peers and 4 seeds. It seems the problem lies on your side. Either you can't connect to tracker (you should wait sometimes), or you are behing firewall or proxy. Hard to tell.

If it's better than the VCD than it is worth downloading as the VCD is quite good as well, (visual and audio quality)
