Wimbledon 2004

Well it's that time of year when everybody (mainly fat, tattooed football fans) becomes an expert at tennis,has a pop at Tim Henman and it rains a lot.

I ain't making any predictions or watching Tiger anymore and then he might have a chance. I've cursed the old blighter too many times. Same story every year only t'haircuts change.

Good to see my old pal Goran Ivanisevic enjoying one last hurrah and supposedly going to do something wacky??? The only Croatian I'll be supporting today I'll tell you. Goran and I go back many a year, we shared the same head doctor some years back. While one of us went onto win Wimbledon the other embarked on a ten year losing streak (with a five year hiatus mind you).

Well if not Tiger, Goran or an unlikely comeback by Ivan Lendl I'll tip my hat to Mr Federer.

As for the women who cares...apart from the totty that is. That said hope Martina gets a Flashman-like tonking for being so disrespectful.

ah, but everybody watches it. its tradition to sit with your barley water or lemon squash and cheer to the television. i really hope henman wins this year- its about bleeding time! People shouldnt take the piss out of him- hes actually there, stood playing at wimbledon. give him credit for that! :)

Henman will reach the semi-final but he's definitely not a real winner. Federer is my favorite for the title.

At the moment I'm supporting Sluiter. He plays against Bjorkman at the moment.

Fidel, I think it was ascertained some time ago that me and Sir Archie, the old buzzard, are two very different entities. Surely any damned fool can see that his spelling and grammar are not up to my impeccable levels of unimpeachableness, for a start.

Anyroad, back to the tennis. Out of Serena and Venus, who would get it first? Well, Venus is the easier on the eye, but if Serena says "Jump", Flashy says "Anytime you like, love."

Federer did indeed win. I'm glad; I like his style. I would like to see Henman win one, though.
