Seeing as how Milton Keynes will almost certainly be the next DVD release, how about we get a 2CD companion set like Wembley? I've already written to Brian's soapbox, but wondered what people here would think.

Good idea -- you never know, it may happen!

Killer concert, but not very interesting for the mass, who already have the biggest Queenhits live on Wembley 86.

Most live albums don't sell well anyway, they're put out for the fans.

It would be great if QP's going to release a Osaka 85 CD or DVD-a.

As you know they will release a DVD of Milton Keynes so why release a CD too (you can rip the audio off the DVD and than burn that on CD) ?

Not Osaka 85! We already have two excellent recordings of the show... we need new shows, not old ones.

I only heard one recording and that is an audience recording... What about the other one? It's still a great show to release officially. Check the setlist!

There is a second audience source that sounds even better than the first audience recording, but it is missing the last few songs.

I do like the 85 setlists, but not as much as the 84 setlists, as they dropped STC and GKR. Most of the shows from the time period weren't great, because of Roger's electronic drums and Freddie's voice being on and off from night to night. But when it was on, watch out! Shows like Birmingham 8-31-84, Milano 9-15-84, and Tokyo 5-9-85 have Freddie in superb voice.

The Osaka 85 piano improvisation is unique. The setlist also contains Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting, which is great. And I want the best quality possible; not an audience recording...

The 84 shows you mentioned are great too, but I still prefer Osaka 85 (Nagoya 85 is also great; nice long show).
