Ok, I know this is a really stupid question, but how much would a bass cost?

What kind of bass do you want, I mean you can probably pick up a cheap second hand noname one for about £100 or you can pay £750 odd for a Fender P Bass (John's favourite!). I will warn you that you gets what you pays for with basses though!
remember to learn another one bites the dust. its a real easy song.
