Remember this?

Someone posted an Ebay ad about a Queen The Game sealed 8-track tape. I was the only bidder and winner of the auction. The tape came in the mail today and it was indeed sealed (cellophane was a little scuffed and dirty, really showed age!), so I opened it and tried it in one of my old 8-track players. To my amazement, it plays wonderfully, no double-tracking at all! The cover looks a little weird but it is Queen, the tracks are rearranged for the four track sections but the sound is so amazing! Whoever posted the ad, I tip my hat to you! ;-))

Cool. Don't you just LOVE when you're the only bidder of a cool Queen thing like that and you win. You lucky devil,you;)

That was an oddity -- I hardly ever bid on Queen stuff on Ebay without someone going against me! (And/or sniping at the last minute -- GRR!!) I think because there was no picture of Queen on the cover of the still-sealed 8-track, no-one wanted to bargain for a pig in a poke. I did, and it's so cool to have a brand-new, 20+ year old 8-track tape that actually plays!!
