The music is great, but the plot of the movie itself is awful.

Well, there isn't exactly a plot anyway... So, there isn't really much to criticize (unless you're criticizing the fact that it has NO plot).

Johnny Depp could play Frank N. Furter in a remake, as well as Freddie Mercury. Hehe.

It's okay... I used to think "Oh this rocks.." but then i realised, it was mediocre, the music is fun for the ocasional party you know... but to be honest i discovered that the only reason i found it great was because thats what various subcultures i am fascinated by dictated to me.
Thats no reason to like anything

Many people here may associate Flash Gordon with Queen, but I associate it with Rocky Horror because of just one of the lines in Science Fiction/Double Feature ("And Flash Gordon was there in silver underwear, Claude Rains was the invisible man..." hey! Invisible Man! hehe!)

Me too! One time I was so bored during a school assembly, I was actually watching it in my head. I got through about a third of it.

I love the film too. Regarding the plot...I heard they filmed it in 6 weeks...so I don't think they were going for another Schindler's List. LOL...but that's ok...it's just such a fun movie to watch.

Has anyone ever gone to a midnight showing with people who shout out the ad-lib lines or participate by throwing rice, toast, etc????

Also, did you know that the only person to give Tim Curry a run for his money when being cast as Dr. Frank-n-Furter was Mick Jagger???? LOL...made me laugh.
