Woohooo. just found the motherlode. A whole pile of unloved and unwanted sixpences .

2 days after my Burns arrived I found at a box with at least 100 sixpences in a junk shop . Cost me a small donation :)£3GBP. They are 20p each in the nearest coin shop

Indeedy, very fair. You should definitely put "Brian May" in the Ebay title of the auction. Even more people will flock to it. I'll probably get 2-3. I already play (Sometimes) with a 3-pence! It's pretty good actually. But I do always wonder if the 6-pence will be different.

Tell us when you set it up and I'm sure all us guitar players will love to have one.

Peace,
Adam.

I was only joking I think the prices on that site are incredible rip off's even for genuine SILVER sixpences. Especially as some of them aren't even genuine currency.

Take a look at ebay later this week. or drop me an email at the address in my profile.

Well, I decided to get the ones I saw on Ebay. Received them this morning and they are excellent! Not grubby at all. Quality-wise - they look and feel like any other coin in circulation.

I immediately got a feel for them. Love the edge. It certainly feels unique because of the size and the er...feel. :) Just so you know, I've posted the auction below. You get 3 for £2.50 and free P&P in the UK.

I've also received mine!!
Many thanks to scullyuk.

I thought they'd feel strange to play with, but no. They're great! Definitely the right feel!

Pathetic as I am...
