I think if you bothered to check your history books you'd find that England's 'economic success' was brought about by an agricultural revolution followed by an industrial revolution in the nineteenth century and absolutely fuck all to do with immigration. It was demographic changes that caused England's economic supremacy.

As for rules

You don't enter the country illegally.
You don't claim asylum then disappear when you're turned down.
You don't hijack planes because you want to claim asylum.
You don't travel through various European countries and then claim asylum once you've reached Britain.
You don't run over children and then run off because you haven't got a licence, insurance or the right to stay in the country.
You don't announce that suicide bombers are justified.

There are hundreds more but I've had a few and will continue tomorrow or today as the case may be.

The amount of people you're talking about is miniscule. Hundreds of thousands is not a miniscule amount of people, Holly, particularly when we're paying for their upkeep. What is their contribution to society? Preaching hatred is about as constructive as they get. Oh, and prostitution.

Norman Tebbit spoke an awful lot of sense. Enoch Powell is another that history wrongly dismisses as racist, yet virtually everything he talked of has come to pass. It is not racist to simply want the best for you and your kin. It's human nature.

As far as I am concerned, anyone is welcome in this country, as long as they are prepared to contribute or if they are escaping genuine danger in their homeland. But the vast majority are simply here because we have become a soft touch and a meal ticket. I wouldn't go to live in another country and show a blatant disregard for their values and way of life, whilst expecting to be fed, housed and placed above the natives in every waiting list.

There is nothing overtly racist in what Archie or myself has said. We are just sick of seeing our country trodden on.

By all means, come to our country - but show it a little respect if you want to make it your home.

i used to think like holly but now more like archie. where i come from (bradford, england) in the 70s lots of asians moved over. basically in that 30 years, 80 percent of crimes in the area have become linked to the asian minorities. the parts in bradford where they live are badly littered, cars have no taxes and more than half of them dont try to get jobs, they just scrounge off support. Thats not my opinion, THATS PROVEN FACT. not all of them are like that of course, there is the occasional nice few, some whom have their own cornershops, some whom go to grammar school to become doctors, cos lots of asians do that. sadly though, most cant be arsed and just start riots in bradford every may bank holiday. we cant afford immegrants like them anymore.

The kids who you say are linked with crimes / riots are not immigrants - their parents may have been. they are British citizens because they were born here!

Bradford is a unique situation. BUT if you travel to many towns in lets say Northamptonshire
there are are massive problems amongst the youth too. These have included no go areas and the police were even forced to set up curfews after 9.00 p.m. And these are "white English kids" causing problems.

Yes I'm sure Bradford has many problems - most centre around Asian minorities. But lets not kid ourselves - there are problems all over the country.
