Some of you may remember Coopin and her posts about the birth and subsequent struggle to health of her great nephew Elijah. I received an email from her recently and unfortunately things are not looking too good and she asked me to pass this message on to people who may be interested.
Elijah is on an organ donor list for a liver, pancreas and intestines. He has been steadily losing weight and is in hospital having tests to see how bad it is.
Unfortunately, Coopin's pc is down so she can only access her email at the library at the moment, which I am sure is furthest from her mind at the moment, so any updates will be a while in coming.

I'm as heartless as they come, but I hate to see young 'uns in pain or peril. It must be too upsetting for words to see your bairn in such plight. I hope all goes well for all concerned.

So sad...All I could say is that I will keep that little one in my prayers. Hope he receives the transplants. My heart goes out to his mother and father and family.
