I could never possibly understand how Marlon Brando got paid more than Christopher Reeves for filiming Superman. Even though Marlon Brando's role was almost like a 'cameo-like' and Christopher Reeves had the lead role.

Brando was one of the last "Old Hollywood" Method actors. He was an excellent actor and, seeing the decline in his health and the increase in weight the past ten-odd years, it was bound to happen sooner or later. He lived a long life (80's not too bad is it?) and left a great legacy on film. He was Johnny Depp's hero (and friend). Wonder if Jacko will turn up for the funeral? (Brando was so large, they'll probably have to bury him in a piano case!)

Most likely, yes. They were very good friends.

That's a good joke, but I think that you should have waited for a few days before posting that.
Not those are losers who fall, but those who don't stand up.

He was never really one of my favourites, but on the bright side - if he can make it to 80, there's hope for us all. He ended up in a right state.

"I could have been a contender" was one of his immortal lines.

Yes, you could have Marlon. But you let yourself go big style.
You did right, lad. You did right.
FLASHMAN STRIKES AGAIN! Paul Rodgers is not the best thing since fried Fred.
