You'd definitely like the Darkness live then!! Their show is so full of energy it's very reminiscent of a mid-70s Queen concert. I had a lot of fun at their show last month, and hope they make another appearance soon!

The Darkness have just been catching on here in Toronto Canada with their hit "A Thing Called Love"... I had heard about them in Blender magazine last year but am just starting to groove on their retro arena rock sound!

Besides Queen, there are a great number of bands I listen to. While I would say that Queen is definitely the most diverse rock band ever, you really should listen to lots of different bands to get the whole rock and roll experience. Other favorite bands/artists of mine - The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Elton John, Aerosmith, Rush, Dio, David Bowie, The Clash, Iced Earth, The Who, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Journey, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, The Darkness, Savatage, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, AC/DC, The Doors, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, Heart, Chicago, Lita Ford, Dave Matthews Band, Evanescence, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Guns 'n Roses, KISS, Rainbow, The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Wings, Stryper, Def Leppard, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and (believe it or not) many others. And that's not even including Jazz or Classical artists.
I think this calls for a little "Bohemian Rhapsody", gentlemen.

I'm a dedicated Queen fan but I like lots of other bands too - Stones, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, G n R to name a few. Over the last year I've become a big fan of The Who and I had the privelage of seeing them live a few weeks ago. They were superb but it just makes me sad that Brian & John can't /won't do what what Roger Daltrey & Pete Townshend have done. They've lost half of their band and yet they are still keeping The Who's music alive and sounding as good as ever (well almost).

i'm sorry no-onebutme but with all due respect The Who are a joke now. Once they were one of my fav bands and I still love their music but lets face it ... they gave their first farewell tour 22 years ago and made their last album just before. With out Moon and Entwistole the Who just is Who? Witout Freddie their is no Queen. There can be only one! (Also in defence of The Who both their lead vocalists are still alive).
