You can rule out December....

Seriously, his last recording session is felt to be August. Assuming that Mother Love was being written at that point, ther's your answer. However, it's entirely possible that in June 1990, Brian & Freddie wrote the first verse, in Aug 1990 the second verse, and it was all done except a bit more singing once the third verse got written. Brian said Freddie saw the third lyrics but never sang them.

In other words, fuck knows.

I always felt that since it was said he sang up till literally the end, it was October. But don't go by me, really. I don't know much. :-)

This is what David Richards told a friend of me when she visited the Mountain studios a few months ago:
Freddie recorded the last vocals of Mother Love and went home to London, saying he would come back for the last verse some other day. But he never did. 10 Days later David got a phonecall from someone (Can't remember who, but i thought it was Peter Freestone) saying Freddie was gone.

So the last bit Freddie recorded was in the first weeks of November 1991.

But maybe they started it in September (like Dark said). Cause Freddie was only available a few minutes a day. He would sing a few lines, and went back to his house

Last year David said something similar in queenoline. He said that the very last recording was the last verse of Winter`s Tale, a couple of days after he had done Mother Love`s middle eight. Two days later he was back in London and ten days later he died.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Mother Love began filming in mid-summer 1991 and then in October 1991 and Freddie sang his penultimate stanza in November 1991 and the next verse has failed to do so is Brian May sang which was a few weeks after his death

Freddie's started filming from May 22, 1991, and last but vocals sung in October and November 1991 and then went home last stanza, he could not sing it for him and sang by Brian May
