Whenever I share a file, I not only test the link, I download it and play it myself even though I already have it offline. I guess I just want to experience my work the same way my audience does.

Speaking only for myself, this is hardly "upsetting". On the contrary, the predictable failure was only really, really boring. So boring, I can't even come up with another adverb to go instead of the second "really".
