I have bought the DVD and it sucked! I bought because I wanted to check it out. I think the Becoming Queen is better than this crap.

'Magic Moments' has interviews with Peter Freestone, Peter Straker, and others.. including brief snippets from Brian & Freddie interviews and there's some guy from 'Record Collector' and an old BBC DJ. They basically tell the story of Queen by talking about each album chronologically, though they completely skip 'The Game' for some reason.
The two Peters tell very nice stories about Freddie and the whole thing has a rather positive tone, I don't think AIDS is ever even mentioned.. there's nothing tabloid-like about it.. which is why I enjoyed it.
Yes, it has some annoying background music which has nothing to do with Queen, but it wasn't enough to keep me from enjoying the show. it runs 61 minutes. The disc has a very thorough text based discography and a trivia game.
It's not fantastic, but I have to admire them for being so positive and not focusing on Freddie's private life in any way. That was very refreshing!
I haven't seen 'Becoming Queen' yet.

I've watched both, and I like Becoming Queen a little bit more, but only because of Magic Moments' annoying background music. Content-wise, Magic Moments was better, though.

I hate the bloody annoying background "music" (if you can call it music!) -- it drowns out the people talking about Freddie and Queen! Dreadful!!
