I use both, but I've noticed some of my posts don't appear when I've posted them on the old board and then go to the new.

I only use the old board for searching for old posts, and changing my profile, since the new profile thing won't work for me.
I've always thought it was a bad idea to have two going at once. Probably the cause of many problems.

I didn't even know the old one existed anymore. So I've been using the new one since my return. Ta for the link to the old one!
I am using caching to make the new board more efficient. the cache is cleared and when someone posts a message on the new board - but not currently on the old one.
i don't really want to maintain two boards, but if i have time, i will fix it so that the old board triggers a cache refresh.
Note, there is a search facility on the new board:

The overwealming majority of people post on the new board by the way.

For people with a bad eye sight there is a huge difference, the old board is so much easier to read. With all the quotes becoming popular, however, this advantage is becoming smaller. Some people just cannot post on the new board for some reason, maybe this will be sorted out in time. I suppose you cannot make everybody happy.
Well, just noticed the new board has a search function... and it kind of works. Me likey. Think I'll slowly but gradually give up on the oldie.
