hi,

I am going to be in Edinburgh on the 21 August - a Saturday. With nothing to do but get a little drunk - maybe with Queen fans?

if you are around this area and feel like catching up, please get in touch:

[email protected]

Richard
Oooh that's tempting. How often do you guys get together?
i don't know. i will be on holiday from Australia.
if people are interested, i could post a news article informing people of the impending gathering. if someone is happy to be a contact point. i will be a bit sporadic in my ability to check my email whilst away.
I live in Edinburgh.
Mmm tempter.

Would have to promise to get very drunk and no taking the piss out of my monocle by Fatty.
Nancy Astor : "If I were your wife I would put poison in your coffee". Winston Churchill : "And if I were your husband I would drink it".
Make sure you post up details of the meet, if one is arranged.
I'll make the trip - I have been promising Fatty a pint for long enough now.
Cleveland May 24 to June 4th 2007 - I came, I saw, I fucked off home again.
can anyone suggest a good place. obviously, i have no idea...
That's exactly the date of the Benidorm 46664 concert. Not a good choice...

just happens to be when i am in Scotland.
Mr Scully. That's why Richard will be getting drunk - because he's in Scotland on that day and NOT Benidorm!!!
i was hoping that it might be broadcast on a satelite channel or something?
I'm afraid there won't be any live broadcast.

I'm afraid I haven't got the room to put anyone up at my place and the 21st of August is slap bang in the middle of the Edinburgh festival so if you didn't book a room at least three years before you were born, you have no chance of finding somewhere to stay. I could check out a few B&Bs but it's unlikely that they will have rooms during the festival.
If anyone does fancy a get together on the 21st I will be happy to show them around my fair city and I suggest a good meeting spot is the Guildford Arms, just behind Burger King at the east end of Princes Street. From there we could attempt the 'Rose Street Pub Crawl' Let me know what you think.

fatty.
