its good but not that good. Besides its Tom Hanks...
Denzel Washington in Malcolm X (1992)was awesome.
Tremendous acting in a difficult role.

Me too! Anxiously awaiting Book 7 of The Dark Tower. :)
Here's one for you, the greatest actor that no one here has heard of: Amitabh Bachchan!

Really? Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors!
Tom Hanks is always great.
Even though 'The Ladykillers' sucked, he gave a great performance as always.

I agree. Same goes for the Terminal: mediocre-to-good movie with the only real bright spot being Tom Hanks. CZJ however annoyed the shit out of me.
Stop, or My Mom Will Shoot!
Most people find it stupid, but I love it. The chemistry between Joe (Stallone) and his mom was great. "YOU BOUGHT A MACHINE GUN OFF THE BACK OF A VAN!?"

Maybe we're so used to see Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks making excellent movies that when they do a movie that is just about as average or a bit better than the average, we consider it mediocre.
I'm probably the only person on earth who thinks that 'The Lost World' was better than the first Jurassic Park movie.
I still don't understand why people say so much crap about that movie.
I agree. Jurassic Park was booooooooooring.
I loved The Terminal!
I didn't think the first Jurassic Park was bad, but I sure expected more from the movie.
