I visited madame tussauds yesterday and realised that freddie had been removed from there, i dont know whether he was out for repair or whether he has been removed permently. does anyone know?

As far as I know the Freddie figure never was at the wax museum. It always was in the Rock Circus at Trocadero (Piccadilly Circus) which is an affiliate of the main wax museum. I think the Freddie figure is still there.

The Freddie waxwork has never been in Tussauds London, I believe there is a "Freddie" in Tussauds Blackpool but this is not part of the Tussaud's group and is of very poor quality.

Years ago I visited Rock Circus.
Freddie was standing close to the entrance I believe. It was one or the one statue where you could have your picture taken. Of course I did that. Later on I heard they moved it to another place in Rock Circus.

There's a Freddie in Amsterdams Tussauds
I was in Tussauds London last June, and asked the lady: "Where is the Freddie Mercury?". She answered: "We don't have a Freddie Mercury". I replied, almost shouting:"YOU DON'T HAVE A FREDDIE MERCURY?! THIS IS NOT A WAX MUSEUM!!!"
Of course she went on trying to explain that was indeed a wax museum, and a good one, but I just left. I was ANGRY :)
