1) has jumped onto this 'everything has to be connected to the romans'big hystorical epic bandwagon ie gladiator, troy (kinda).
2) is highly over- rated. kiera only appears half way thru and jumps from pathetic inmate to super worrior in no time at all
3) theres a cockney roman soldier
4) its cheesy of course
5) the acting on the most part is fine, with exception of the compulsary sex scene with no purpose, as usual
all over, i give this summers block buster only 4/10
