Arrgh... too many. I used to be addicted to that show, until it got sorta crap of late (...but I can still do a mean Homer impression)

I loved the episode where Home became a hippy, and had that nasty old poncho.
And I really liked the 'Flaming Moe' episode, too. Oh! And the Stonecutters episode

My favourite quotes... hmm...

Homer: "When will I learn? The answer to
life's problems aren't at the bottom of a bottle, they're on TV!"

Homer: "Please don't eat me! I have a wife and kids. Eat them!"

Ralph: Me fail English? That's unpossible.

Billy Corgan: "Billy Corgan, 'Smashing Pumpkins'."
Homer Simpson: "Homer Simpson, smiling politely."
Previously known as 'Poodle Permed'.

the one where they all die, and never make a show again.

there's too many to name, it's a great show, i think it would be easier to name the boring episodes (which i doubt there are many)
Mejor yo me hecho una chela, y chance enchufo una chava, chambeando de chafirete, me sobra chupe y pachanga Tranzando de arriba a abajo, hay va la chilanga banda , chinchin si me la recuerdan

Where mr burns and smithers are walking along the rooftops in the dead of night ready to break in. flanders pops his head out of the sky light with his bed hat on and says 'hiya fellers, what can i diddily do you for?' and they spray him and knock him out, so he just sinks back in!

and ralph on valentines day when lisa gives him a card...
"it says choo choo chose me, and theres a picture of a train!"

In Homer vs New York where he drinks all the crab juice and has to pee, he sees 'Flushing Meadows' on a bus and has a fantasy about frolicking around in a meadow with lots of toilets. So puerile I know but hey.
I like all of them really except for that horrible one where Principle Skinner turns out to be an imposter. What a waste of time.

Yeah, it's something along those lines. But as a hardcore Led Zeppelin fan, I take that comment very personally, especially when a bit media hit like The Simpsons is imposing this rubbish on its viewers.

For decades, it was standard for bluesmen to borrow words and music from one another. Zeppelin is overly noted for it because they were just about the only hugely successful band to do it. It was completely hypocritital for Willie Dixon to sue LZ for Whole Lotta Love, when plenty of his own material was borrowed/stolen. They all did it, and never had a problem with it. But when it was a huge name like Zeppelin, then you had to sue! If Robert Johnson had lived 50 years longer, I'm sure he would've wanted some royalties, too.

Oooookay, back to The Simpsons.

*fire department arrives*
*Barney holds up an axe*

Barney: What are these for?
Wiggum: I dunno... for chopping stuff.

Barney then chops the closest fire hydrant, and belches on the third chop. Gotta love Barney.

That was the same episode where Homer is at the World Trade Center and has to pee really bad. He's told that the only toilet he can use is at the observatory at the top of the towers, so goes to the top floor of one of the Twin Towers and finds out that the toilet is out of service, so he has to come all the way down and then go to the top of the other tower.

That episode has been banned from airing in America since 9/11. I don't know if they would still air re-runs in other countries.

I love the bits where Principal Skinner has a Vietnam-flashback. Brilliant stuff :)

Mr T's appearance in a recent episode about Krusty being a Jew was fab too :D

I have no idea what episode it is but the scene involves Homer trying to see writing on his back and starts spinning round on the floor trying to look at his back and his voice gets higher and higher.

Also the one where Homer gets his gun and turns the lights out by shooting them.

Class.

Or the one where Flanders is waffling on about apples (or is it cider) and Homer's brain flys off 'thats it I'm outta here'.
Nancy Astor : "If I were your wife I would put poison in your coffee". Winston Churchill : "And if I were your husband I would drink it".

Funny you should mention that Mr. Jingles. I'm heartily unsurprised that they can't show that in America, and I assumed it would just never be shown again. Imagine my joy when I discovered that I happened to still have it on tape! I hoped I could make money out of it one day. But apparently here (NZ) they will still air it cause it was on TV the other night. And since that's my favourite episode I was delighted.

Not true.

Just watched that episode tonight, and as best I can recall, nothing was edited out.

Wow. "We put the Spring in Springfield"...

Principal Skinner riding by the kids on his motorcycle, saying "Up Yours, Children"...

The Aurora Borealis in Skinner's Kitchen...

"Mr. Plow, yeah, that's my name, that name again, is Mr. Plow"...
I hath soiled myself, methinks.....

heh, *angry judge in car* I sentence you to kiss my ass!

But there's obviously funnier things than that. My friend and I always have a humourous Simpsons quote for all times of the day..that, or Family Guy.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!
