I read that after Freddie's death the remaining members remixed Living On My Own. I have the greatest hits 12and3 box set and I was wondering if the Living On My Own is the remix or the original. 'cause they said it was remade to be more dance, but why wouldn't they put the orginal instead since he didn't have anything to do with the remix? o and anyone know where i can hear the orginal- if that isn't it.

The other members of the band had nothing to do with the remixes of said song, The version on GH 3 is one of the many remixes.

Not really any different than Barcelona or Driven By You being included. Queen didn't have enough hits to fill up a third Greatest Hits, so solo songs were included.

The original 'Living On My Own' may or may not be, but more than likely is, one of the songs on my site this week. ;)

To answer your question:
They wouldn't use the original, because the original wasn't a hit, unlike the '93-version which went to no. 1 in the UK.
