Did anyone see the Classic Rock Greatest Frontmen edition? They voted Freddie second! I suppose that that's almost acceptable, but Voting Bon Scott 1st isn't! I mean- all of AC/DC's best stuff was recorded after he died! Yes, he did have great stage presence, but that's not all that makes a good frontman! Freddie had great stage presense, a great voice and he wrote great music! he'd be top of my list!!!
I've been told a million times of all the troubles in my way, but I grow a little wiser, little better every day...
I have never seen Bon Scott perform, but he must be good if he beat Freddie.
Not those are losers who fall, but those who don't stand up.
Those lists are all relative anyway. I tend not to take them to heart, because there's a different person writing them every time, with different opinions and ideas.

I don't think anyone should be offended that Freddie wasn't chosen number one. There are a lot of great bands out there. I think we should be happy and proud that Freddie was chosen number two. I for one know a lot of people who don't rank Queen at the top of the mountain like most of us. I don't know if I would rate Bon number one but obviously others felt he was. An arguement could be made for any number of people including Robert Plant , Peter Gabriel or even Axl Rose. I think I would (probably) choose Freddie but that's a biased opinion.

...and there was a time (70's/80's generally) when Robert Plant would have simply been handed the honor of the #1 spot without so much as a second thought. (Then, even worse, #2 might have gone to a knucklehead like Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne or <some random guy from Kiss>...)

But I agree with many above who try not to take these lists to heart... it's somewhat gratifying that he placed so very high, though!
...gonna use my prisoners, gonna give 'em the business...
Well, Alice Cooper could have beaten Freddie (I of course like Freddie more), but certainly not Axl Rose or Robert Plant. Come on!

I don't know about Axl Rose, but I think Robert Plant, especially the 70's in particular, would probably have been #1 on many occasions.

You're joking, right? Highway To Hell or Whole Lotta Rosie are supposed to be worse than the stuff with Brian Johnson...? C'mon...!

Freddie = 1
Robert Plant = 2
Bon Scott probably about 30th
"I bet you lost your virginity to a mechanical bull"
Well, this list places him at 5th, behind Elvis, Roger Daltrey, Jim Morrison and Mick Jagger. It really just depends on who's compiling the list.

But look at some of the other categories, because Freddie was the Greatest Rock Vocalist and Queen the Best Live Artist.

"I'm a wild flower. Somtimes looking quite wonderful in a collection of arrangement but also beautiful when standing alone.
Who the hell is Bon Scott?

I'm a little clueless when it comes to most music.

He was the frontman of AC/DC, until he died in 1980. Brian Johnson replaced him after that.

Yeah, no-talent Paul McCartney...that makes a lot of sense.
