what's your ride?

Greetings Folks. I'm currently conducting a scientific survey/experiment concerning what kind of automobiles Queen fans drive. Could there be some kind of link between being a Queen fan and driving, let's say, a K car? Or would the average Queen fan be more of a '78 corolla with rusty door hinges type? Please let us know your make, model, and year of car that you have...that is if you have a car. I will then tabulate the results and possibly be able to find a cure to cancer and/or aids.

P.S.: Dream cars don't count.

I'm currently driving mom's old 1984 Pontiac Phoenix. It's a lovely shade of maroon/deep red with grey primer spots, lots of rust, exhaust problems, doors that only open from the inside and no driver's side window (the result of doors only opening from the inside). Also a transmission that overheats after about 15 minutes of driving, when it stops downshifting and chug-chugs to a stop much like a manual transmission if you don't push in the clutch. Then it won't go again until it cools down.

You know that Kia commercial where the guy comes out and takes the ugly car cover off to magically reveal the beautiful Kia? It's identical to that. I only wish I was kidding.

Shortly before x-mas last year, a spare tire was rolling down the road and hit the left front of my car almost head on. My car needs to last two more years, because I do not want another car payment (besides my wife's car).

We hired a transit a couple of years ago and set off for a long weekend outing.
Having gone maybe 20 miles or so down the motorway, the near side front wheel decided to part company from the van.
The funny part of it now is, I remember vividly, us screeching to a halt on the hard shoulder and moments later the wheel overtaking us in the fast lane....lol
