New Queen fans aged 40+?

I'm 40 and have been a Queen fan since only two years ago. Better late than never.

It will be 2 years for me next month, and I'm 45.

Holy shit, Kriz!! I don't care too much for the other bands and I kind of got used to this little feeling of jealousy of those who were lucky to see Queen live but you've also seen The Clash 5 times??? They're my favourite band besides Queen! I met Joe Strummer in Brooklyn in 2002, just 8 months before he died. He was the nicest guy you could meet. But it didn't really make up for all the Clash gigs I couldn't see.

Just to add something to the topic, my mum is 50 and is a huge Queen fan. She's actually the reason why I've become one.

My mum is 67, likes Queen a lot, met Brian & Roger (and got their autographs for me) and came with me to see Brian at Hammersmith on the BTTL tour.

My Dad.....hates anything newer than Patsy Cline :-s

My mom is 67 too. She likes Lawrence Welk.

Im 42 and been a fan since 74 seen queen 8 times best moment for me i thnk was the we are the champs. video shoot.

42, and first got into them Killer Queen when it hit no2 in Uk charts - earlier this month 1974...i was hooked - ever since
30 years a queen fan....five gigs and loads of records later (all sold to make room in house 1991) and still a queen fan

only band i've like for longer is the beatles - and blame my dad for that - strawberry fields/penny lane continually
