This is the only movie/documentry to make me cry! well, feel sad...since i have no heart and my soul is blacker then night!
Its about a gay man, who was beaten to death, just because he was gay! its a true story (note the word "documentry" which i used earlier). But throughout this whole movie, all i could think about was what Freddie would have done if he was still alive that day. Im not just saying that at random, i said it because alot of famous homosexuals made comments on the news, and how it affected them. I thought it was really sad. I didn't know anything about Laramie or the gaybashing that went on there until i saw this movie in religion *shudder, hate the subject*. i think thats fair enough considering it happened in 1998, i was 9!
well, that was my thoughts..you all probably think i'm raving mad! but i would like to hear from Americans who remember this event... because it was a terrible thing to happen, and i have alot of fear for my eldest brother, because he's gay, and this movie showed me how homophobic alot of people are.
