Queen in Art

Okay, well, in an Art class today, I was drawing the word "Queen" and drawing a crown. I showed it to the Art teacher, and she said that it was not acceptable and wrong. I was so angry. And then everybody started to jump on it saying 'Yeah. Queen is a band. A bad band' and 'Yeah. Queen is a bad band 'cause they supported gays.' (We arent allowed to draw or use bands on our projects. I have no idea why!But she says Christian bands are allowed.) And I couldn't believe it! This so-called art teacher allowed Slipknot to be used in these other students projects, and she was convinced that they were a christian band, and letting them get away with that!!! And when I started to protest, she was saying that she would give me detention if I spoke another word of 'Queen'.And I also put 'Rock Royalty' and she said that was the same thing! Ans she said that all crowns would mean Queen. My god this woman is insane!!!!Now, I would like to ask, IS THIS RIGHT?!?!!?!?!?!

I just can't believe her. She said that Queen is offensive to alot of people. And that a crown is bad. "Shame on you," she said. And she is such a homophobe. So is our music teacher. She said that that governer guy, since he was gay, that 'I hope you think that is wrong', she told a class. Maconaquah Schools have way too many homophobes. Hell, the other day I heard 'Queers are gay' chanted through the halls. My goodness. And she said I could have a crown and the word "Queen" if I put a person down. "Like a Beauty pageant," she said. Yeah, I'll (try to) draw Freddie Mercury and see what she says. Knowing her she'll probably send me to the principal. Oh well. I'll take one for Queen! She even says the word "Rock 'N' Roll" is very, very offensive.

Well old chap/chapette you should bring in some Shitknot and see how she reacts to that. Or just label them as Smile (I'm aware that Queen was not Smile)

Or just draw the Red Special.

Most art teachers are cool with that. well, at least mine are. we had to build a cd cover and design and I did a Queen one also with the Queen crest and all on it (pics in the Queen art section) and got a B for it.
But if she doesn't like it I wouldn't do Queen stuff anymore, whether it's right or wrong, if it affects your grade.

my art teacher (well, my teacher for next year) is a complete idiot! it wouldnt surprise me if she didnt know who Queen were! Even though my friend, Pax and I, listen to them non-stop!! literally! I LOVE QUEEN!!!!! hehehehe....
