How much creative control did Queen have over their music ?

Did Queen's record company ever put pressure on Queen to make a certain type of Ablum ? or could they made what ever music they wanted ?

Be sure to add some loving comment about some Zimbabwian version of the musical - that'll assure that Brian actually reads the message.
it'd be interesting to find out indeed, although I'm pretty sure some of the earlier albums are not label influenced creatively, simply becasue they are so diverse, some other later albums like works or kind of magic would be interesting to hear about...and even if they were I would assume the company would not have FULL control over the album, as almost every Queen album is pretty diverse in song styles/mood.
