I love bellbottoms, and I try to wear them often because tapered pants ... gah. (I don't want to look like Sarah from Labyrinth!) The problem is that most bellbottoms are very heavy weight, and thusly suck for being in California ...

Bellbottoms make me think of the 70's, but I wear flares.

I agree with whirled peas... baggy stuff is teh ick...but then again i tend to dress very formally wherever i go.
I guess considering i rarely wear jeans id have to say i dont have an opinion...i wear suits so, erm, i like suit pants.
...Im also a bit of a prude so i dont like low rise jeans >_<
