Might I suggest you read Peter Freestone's book? Great read with lots of info. And if you're too lazy, basically, Phoebe describes him as a very good man with the same emotions as anyone else.
God damn listen to the lyrics when you listen to his songs and try to understand him from that point of view.
Very quiet at times very boisterous at times, had tantrums (ala Sir Elton and worse!) Loved to gossip with his gay friends and close women friends, loved to throw parties with themes!
Lets see, shy about certain things. Loved dancing, champagne (Cristal, darling!) and was very protective of his family and Mary!
