i was on the Eminem site (www.eminem.com) and i was very surprised to see a link to www.queenonline.com, on the "links" page.
does anyone know why Eminem's site would ahve a link to a Queen site?
"and maybe next time we WILL bring back an orchestra"
Listen to the Eminem song "'Till I Collapse" Might sound familiar to you :)
Even though I hate the idea, there might be some links. When writing in his soapbox about the composition of "The Call" for the 46664 concert, Brian mentioned he thought of Eminem to sing it. I don't know if he was serious, though. I hope not :)

On witch album album is that song placed?
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all I'm a fan of Queen, but does that mean I'm a Queen?
"The Call", which is actually properly titled "46664 - The Call", will be released in December, according to Brian May himself, on the 46664 studio album (of which I've no idea what it will be called), assuming we don't get a delay that would be typical of normal Queen releases (a la GVH II, The Game & ANATO DVD-A's, etc.)

Other new Queen songs on the album to be released (which by the way is NOT entirely a Queen album, for those newbies who may be wondering if it is a new Queen album or not - although Roger and Brian apparently are supposed to be in charge of producing much of the album if I am not mistaken) include:

Say It's Not True
Invincible Hope (featuring Treanna Morris and Nelson Mandela)
Amandla (with Anastacia and Andrews Bonsu)

"Invincible Hope" and "Amandla" WERE available at one time last year up until earlier this year for purchasable downloads, on high quality Windows Media Audio 9 format.

There are unconfirmed reports of a further two Queen songs just recently written for this album as well. We will see when the track listing and artists involved are completely made available to the press media. Other artists that should definitely be included are Dave Stewart (formerly of the Eurythmics, who performed at the 46664 concert last November), Paul McCartney (formerly of the Beatles), and Paul Oakenfold (formerly of himself)

Does anyone know why this friend of my brother's roomate likes to eat poached eggs?
Because it's far more exciting than eating eggs that are readily available at your local grocery?

Because Eminem is a huge Queen fan. I've read it in a magazine and, then, I've asked myself how the heck does he write such crap music, if he likes Queen so much??!!
I LOVE QUEEN! "My guitar was my weapon and my shield to hide behind" (Brian May)
Rumour has it that Paul Oakenfold will be doing a remix of Invincible Hope and will be released as a single here in the UK to promote the album. I hope its true.
Guess who's back?
What's wrong with Eminem? And why does everyone find it so unbelievable that he's a Queen fan and has their link on his website?
Eminem is just a totally different genre and most of us 'rock fans' don't like Hip Hop but he's really good at what he does and he's a musician and probably likes all kinds of music.
I think he's cool and I respect him because he's one of the few who has the guts to say what he thinks, whether people like it or not.

Check out his lyrics, then imagine him at an AIDS benefit.

Considering his derogatory terms to describe women, blacks, and homosexuals, as well as who he associates with.....well, I fail to see the 'art', and thought Brian was off his rocker for his comments back then, and still do now (unless he was being sarcastic)

Well, Brian likes EVERYONE... or everyone who "likes him"...

" I fail to see the 'art', "

I'm not a big fan of his music, but did want to point out that 'art' does not have to be 'polite'.
