I've been a fan since '76. So I guess it doesn't 'wear off'.

The first Queen I remember hearing was WWRY/WATC on the radio. I don't remember the exact order of purchase, but the first records I bought were News of the World, The Game and the old Greatest Hits record. Here in the US, it listed Keep Youself Alive as being on both Queen and Queen II. I assume in Europe the record had 7 Seas of Rhye instead.
I was impressed by Queen's appearances on Saturday Night Live and Live Aid.
I never stopped liking them but it was only in more recent years that I became obsessed. I like the first four albums the best, but I think they had great songs all the way through their career.
