That's true..Freddie wrote it for Elvis. That's how Freddie got his start in music...writing songs for other people. He originally wrote Bohemian Rhapsody for Barry Manilow, but Barry cut the song from his album at the last minute, and the rest is, as they say, history.....
Elvis died 2 years before it was written, and Elvis couldn't write to save his life.
Hence the reason he died at such an early age!!
