I like Back To The Light. It's a solid album, and Brian really showed he could handle the rockers as well as softer ballads.
Great album, especially the first 7 tracks. Resurrection is in my all-time top ten favourite songs. I think the album gets a bit weak towards the end, with the exception of Last Horizon.
Maybe it's just me, but I think 'Rollin' Over' is one of the most exuberant covers he's ever done.
Better than some Queen albums and certainly Brian's best.
However, it does not flow together as well as I might like. The end, as GH alluded to, is not as cohesive as the beginning.

this is the only mr.may album I actually own and have driven my mother slowly insane with Nothing but you:-)

I agree with what seems the general concenses. It's a great album, some of Brian's best, but the end does kinda jump around. I know Queen albums did that too, but they always managed to move more fluently from one song to the next with little musical interludes i.e. "Prophet Song" into "Love Of My Life." I think that's what is lacking. But, the songs by themselves I think are great. I also have the live cd and that's good, too, although Brian's voice is definitely weaker than Freddie's.
nice!
but i prefer another world :D

I love Nothing But Blue. With Johns bass and Brian on an Ibanez, great song and nice to play along to. Good album.
brilliant album,i went to see brian in 1993 at sheffield city hall,he played a few of that album as well as queen tunes,it was a very electric night, fantastic!!
Yes, I saw him in Manchester in 93 - a lot better than the pants in 1998!
Great Album!
Great Cd
As I recall from roughly 10 years ago, I enjoyed the disc somewhat, but it got sold somewhere along the way.
I'm surprised that it's out of print. Easy to find a used one of course, but especially in America, Hollywood has pretty much kept everything else in print.

I love this album! Resurrection blew me away when
I first heard it! And the tour was also great
(but I prefer the '98 setslist).
