Solo Stuff

Everybody seems to want to know 'what's the best Queen Song' or 'what's the best video'..... but how about What are the best solo tracks by each member (including The Cross).. mine are...

Freddie - The Great Pretender or Exercises in Free Love.
Brian - Starfleet
Roger - Beautiful Dreams or Manipulator
John - ....er.....There's no turning back.....(no much choice really!!!!)

My choices....

Freddie: 'Man Made Paradise' (or the '92 remix of either 'The Great Pretender or 'Love Kills')

Brian: 'Let Me Out'

Roger: 'Turn On The TV'

John: .....ummm.....yeah, you're right. 'No Turning Back' (but a heck of a song it is! :) )

Pretty much agree with that list, although I'd add Wilderness to Brian's list. Also, Exercises In Free Love gets me every time. I love that voice of FM on his solo stuff from that time period.

Songs written by others:"Time/In my defence",it's impossible to choose one or another.But I love everything with the voice of Freddie on!
Brian-
"Too much love will kill you" for the soft side
"Resurrection" for the hard side
Roger-
"Foreign sand" all the days,an almost unknown truly masterpiece.If only Freddie had the time to sing in it,it would be the Bo Rap of the 90's in my opinion
John-very little to choose from,he was always dedicated to Queen.That's why his few(compared to the other members)songs are truly masterpieces.He never failed a song.
Sooo much to choose from those incredible talented guys!

I must say I like most of Freddie's solo work, but i love Guide Me Home and The Great Pretender. From Brian, I prefer Last Horizon, or Too Much Love Will Kill You, and about Roger And John, I really haven't heard anything form their solo careers so I can't say a word
