But Echo Chamber is a real good song! But not the best, they´ve made so many wonderful... You know, they´re real big here in Sweden.

It's quite hard to identify similarities with other famous artists... I found a lot of late '70s stuff and some influences coming from musicals shuch as RHPS etc... Quite hard to define, anyway...
You'll love them if you like the mid/late '70s glam rock... And the guy has a very peculiar voice indeed!!!

I love The Ark! :D I have their first album, almost all of the 2nd one and a few various songs on my mp3 player. They are really cool. I thank a girl who posts here occasionally named Claudia for getting me into them. :) When's their 3rd cd come out? What's it called? I love their songs Echo Chamber, It Takes a Fool to Remain Sane, Calleth You, Cometh I and Topsy Kaiser the best! :D

Yes, the inspiration is much glamrock (wich I love) and musicals (wich I also love!) And the singer, Ola Salo, loves RHPS so of course he has got some influence from it. I first heard of them thanks to my friend in Germany named Claudia. She rocks! She told me a bit about them and then copied their first cd (We Are the Ark) for me. I then downloaded the 2nd cd. So, they have a 3rd cd coming out? I'm looking forward to trying to get a copy of it. That's awesome that they are inspired by glam rock, Queen and RHPS. :) The lead singer sounds like Bowie to me on one song. :) ahhh love that band. hehe
Yeas, I also think that Ola sounds a bit like Bowie. The first time I really listened to David Bowie, it was Under pressure. I didn´t care much before that. Stupid me.. Anyway, then I just thought: "oh! Is it Ola who´s singing? No, it can´t be, he´s not born yet." Hihi
