Being as this was the last video shot by the band, do you think that at the back of Brians mind, he has some regret at not being at the video shoot? I remember reading that when the video was shot, that Brian was on a solo promotional tour in Belgium and that his parts were shot separately and added later. To be honest, I think id be gutted!

I don't know. I've wondered that myself. I know that if it were me in that situation, I'd be quite upset. They didn't do a bad job editing him in though. :P

according to my Queen Fan Club book, Brian was in the states promoting Innuendo, and his footage was shot separately and edited in afterwards.

Don't forget a lot was done on purpose in those days. Brian went to the States to assume there was nothing wrong. It would have been strange to fly straight back to the UK, to shoot the video. And also one couldn't know how little time Freddie had after that video so it had to be filmed then and there.

Yeah the long shot is good. But you can see the join of the two shots. Nicely done, though, eh?

I wonder if they could re-edit that and make it join up better for GVHIII. Might be possible with today's tech.
