I don't understand how anyone could feel embarrassed by Brian May's guitar playing. It's what he liked to do in concert, and did very well at that. I saw Queen 14 times, and not once did he play the exact solo as the times before. He always had a fresh approach to it. Sometimes they started off similarly, but he always showed me some of his real talent with his solos. If anyone would have asked me when it was going to end, I would have told him/her to shut up, and then not invite him/her to anymore Queen concerts. And this has nothing to do with stepford or any other crap. He's awesome! On a related note, I agree with the person who mentioned Roger's tympani solos dragged a bit.

Rogers timpani solos dragged a bit cos people got bored, Roger got bored. Thats why he jacked them in.
Isn't it Roger even mentioned that drum solos were so cliche? He added that when drum solos were on, people went to get a hot dog or something...

Well, I never go to get a hot dog during his drum solos. Besides that, Rog's solos were far better than Brian's solos!

Whoa! Easy girlfriend! I think the general feeling is that most ppl think Brian could have done alot more with his solo than what he did. That's all. We all love Brian.
