Just thought i would start a new topic about Green Day. Anyone out there like them? I heard alot of people haveing a problem with their one song Jesus Of Suburbia just because it is around 9 min long. What do you guys think of them?

There was a time when I was in grammar school when everyone I knew was into Green Day. I never really got into them, I'm afraid I don't really like them.
First band I ever really liked ... have all their albums, even the first one, which nobody knows about. They're very similar to the Kinks, whom I also love.

which new song do you like? American Idiot? My friends think that song has a great tempo to it i also like it too. Thats what made me go out and buy their new album.

On the topic of this genre of music, believe it or not, I actually enjoyed the newest single from Sum 41. There isn't an original note in the song, but it's a nice mix of new rock, punk, and 80s metal. I forget the title, but it was honestly not too bad! Can anyone help with the name?
